        喷嘴出料口与被涂物之间的距离称为枪距。枪距越小，喷涂压力就越大，产品受到气压的冲击也越大，涂层就会出现不平均的情况，产生涂膜过厚的问题。枪距越大，喷涂压力越小，涂料易流失，使被涂物部分喷料过少，涂膜达不到指定的厚度。喷涂扇面与被涂物面呈现垂直的状态。手工操纵喷枪时，喷涂宽度不能出现过大的情况，否则会出现涂层平均的问题。喷枪运转的目的要始终与被涂物面平行，与喷涂扇面垂直，运转速率不稳，涂层厚度不平均，运转速率过快涂层太薄，运转速率过慢涂层太厚。总而言之，在使用喷涂设备的时候，要做到力度适中，距离合适才可以，这样才能够得到想要的涂装效果，在施工后，一些扫尾的事情也需要完善起来，涂料及帮助器具的收拾，使用后的残剩涂料要封锁保留，这都是需要注意的问题。

         一、喷涂移动速度。在喷涂作业时，喷枪的移动速度对涂装效果有很大影响。

         1、如果手工喷枪移动太快，被涂物表面涂层稀薄，显得干瘦、流平性差、粗拙；

        二、对扳机的控制。喷枪是靠扳机来控制的。扳机扣得越深，液体流速越大。静电喷涂设备在传统走枪的过程中，扳机老是扣死，而不是半扣。为了避免每次走枪行将结束时所喷出的涂料堆积，有经验的喷漆工都要略略放松一点扳机，以减少供漆量。

       四、喷枪至基材表面的间隔。对虹吸式喷枪而言，最佳工作间隔为15~20cm。假如间隔太近，则可能产生流淌，在喷金属闪光漆或珠光漆时甚至可能造成颜色与预期的不一致。假如间隔太远。超过20cm，则可能导致干喷、过喷，使涂料的流平性变差。假如喷涂的金属闪光漆，也可能存在颜色改变的可能性。压送式喷枪可以离基材远一些。一般最佳间隔在20到30cm。这些都是喷涂施工时必需遵循的原则。

       五、握枪。喷枪是靠手掌、拇指、小指以及无名指握住的，中指和食指来扣动扳机。有些喷漆工在较长时间工作时，时不时改换握枪的方式，有时仅仅用拇指，手掌配合小指，有时又是配合无名指握枪，中指和食指用来扣扳机。静电喷涂设备这样可以缓解疲惫，提高工作效率。
